♡DIY Balloon Wall Decoration♡

Retro Baby Room Balloons👶💕

Today we’ll show you how to make retro and fancy cushioned wall balloons, as seen in your favourite fairy kei bedrooms 💘

💕🎈You Will Need🐻💕

🎀How To Make🎀

1.🎈Prepare the fabric

Layer two pieces of folded fabric and cut, following the stencil.

You can cut two pieces of your favourite rainbow colours at a time.

To give them a soft, fluffy appearance, cut the filling following the stencil. You can add 1-3 layers in each cushion, depending on how thick you’d like your balloon to be.

Prepare your fabric to be stitched using the machine. You should have 2 outer balloons, and your preferred amount of inner cloth. 

2.🎈Stitch with the machine

Stitch with your sewing machine, leaving a seam allowance of 7mm. Leave a small patch of the outer balloons empty so you can turn them inside out.

The finished product should look like this.

3.🎈Turn your fabric inside out

Turn the fabric inside out to insert your filling. You can adjust any lumps using the perforating tool.

4.🎈Closing up the gap

Hand stitch the the gap from earlier.

5.🎈Adding the balloon folds

Insert a thread by hand and add gathering to the bottom of your balloon cushion.

Pull the thread lightly before tying it off.

6.🎈Add to your walls!

Attach your balloons to the wall using your preferred method. After they’ve been pinned up, you can add the ribbons.

🎀Customise🎀

You can customise your balloon cushions using cute bows, frills, appliques, and more!

We attached pastel bows to our balloons 🎀

In the centre is a children’s mirror from IKEA decorated with cute party crowns 💘

Since the mirror is light, it can be hung up using double sided tape!

This would make the perfect decoration for birthday parties◎
